This is a blog for, and about, science at CHIME Charter Middle School. Specifically, this is a place for our 6th grade scientists to try activities, read science news relevant to their lives, and blog about their experiences.
this is sad that our pollution is make there area bad it sounds like good place to be but what we have done to make the area bad thats wrong!i think that we should try to make less things to let people them to live happly. I mean they have short trees and the bears grow very very bigg and they eat carapo. So let the area be fresh
ReplyDeleteI was suprised when I read the article. Who knew that a place as far away from the pollution as Kuujjuaq, could be affected? The chemicals may be slow and silent and make kids do bad in school. the people there have 5-10 times as much chemicals in their bodies as the people who live in the polluted cities.
ReplyDeleteI too think it's sad that human impact is not just in the immediate area of pollution. When it's affecting areas so far away, we're looking at a serious problem. Analisa and Eubene, what do you think should be done?
ReplyDeleteI THICK WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IS THAT WE MAKE A DAM SEPARATING THE AREA OF THE POLLUTION FOR EXAMPLE A DAM CIRCLING THE AREA AND INSIDE IS THE ISLAND AND THE OUTSIDE IS THE OCEAN THEN IF PEOPLE WANT TO TRAVEL FOR EXAMPLE THE THEY TAKE A AIRPLANE OR BOAT TO THE AREA TO THERE DESTINATION
